Greetings to you and all my brothers and sisters at the Shackle Island Church of Christ, trust this report finds you well. I, my family and our Evangelism Team are doing well.
The month of October 2024 was very challenging, hectic and historic in our ministry, we are thankful to God for seeing us through and grant our efforts with success in Christ Jesus.
October 3: Our Ukanafun WBSET embark on evangelism campaigns, many denominational church leaders were engaged in our preaching during the campaign, Gospel tracts and Bibles was given to some of them to help them study more about Christ and His Church.
October 7: I lead our Evangelism Team on strategic follow up on a denominational church pastor Mr Tuesday Akarandut at Ikot Ibritam village were we had a Bible Seminar and evangelism early this year. We were asked to come back for further studies of the Scripture as a schedule was drawn.
October 8 – 12: These days was full of grief in the physical as we lost to dead three (Husband, wife and daughter in-law) from Church of Christ, Ikot Odiong. The late brother Friday Robert Uwah was a dutiful brother, his dead alongside his wife Charity and daughter in-law was traumatic to members of his family and his acquaintance. I preach the funeral sermon on October 12.
October 13:. Over 200 Christian children and youths gathered at Church of Christ, Ikot Akpa Idem village worship hall for A Catch Them Young Bible Seminar.
October 16: I was on School Outreach at Ikot Oku Usung alongside other members of our Ukanafun WBSET, sharing the Gospel with the students and Teachers with the hope of preparing the students ahead for their eternity with Christ. Bible and Gospel literatures was presented to some of them.
October 20: Our Evangelism Bus Driver
*(Uduak Hezekiah) baptized into Christ. I am excited that your support of Evangelism Van has been a great instrumental to Soul winning even the one who was employed as a Driver is now a Christian. God bless you and yours in Christ Jesus name Amen.
October 21: The denominational church pastor Mr Tuesday Akarandut at Ikot Ibritam village I reported early, as I lead our Ukanafun WBSET on a follow up,
* he Mr Tuesday was baptized into Christ and we went to his house, prayed and sing praises alongside his family. Praying for his family too to obey the Gospel of Christ.
October 25: I was on of the officiating Preachers at the funeral service of a late Preacher’s wife at Etim Ekpo.
October 27: After I preached a Sunday sermon at Church of Christ, Ikot Odiong, I left with my wife and children who was home on midterm break from school to church of Christ Ikot Akpa Idem on evangelism campaigns.
* Emmanuel Uwem obeyed the Gospel and baptized into Christ.
October 28: Our Ukanafun WBSET meet with our newly baptized denominational church pastor now Brother Tuesday Akarandut for fellowship in his home 🏡.
October 31: Ukanafun WBSET meet on planning for our 2024/2025 Bible Seminar/Evangelism.
