Greetings to you and all my brothers and sisters at the Shackle Island Church of Christ , may God bless you and yours in Christ Jesus name. I trust this report finds you well, I am recuperating from my ill health, thank you so much for your prayers and kind words.
The Bible Seminar/ Evangelism at the Church of Christ, Ikot Edah, Abak Midim in Oruk Anam Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria which me and our Ukanafun WBS Evangelism Team arrived on Wednesday May 8 and labour for Christ till Saturday May 11, 2024 was fruitful.
Our Evangelism Van really help our mission as it enhance the participation of about 50 Evangelists for the rural area mission.
We preached Door to Door, along the rural/jungle street road, Open Air preaching at market place, Indoor Bible Seminar etc.
EFFECT: Ten (10) Souls obeyed the Gospel and baptized into Christ, while Four (4) Erring brethren was restored back to the faith during our Bible Seminar/Evangelism at Ikot Edah village and 9 of them were from the denominational churches. All together, Fourteen (14) Souls obeyed the Gospel.
We experience the power of the Gospel in Acts of the Apostle as :
* A household of 3 baptized into Christ
* Two baptized at Night while we preached at market place the Philippians jailor experience.
* A religious man walking the street and we preached to he baptized, the Ethiopian Eunuch experience.
* A young man who was a cultist also obeyed the Gospel and denounce the idols worship.
Each of the newly baptized received a copy of Bible and Baptismal certificate as well as others who have the need mostly some of our prospects we preached to and they need to study more. Lord willing, we hope to make a follow up mission to Ikot Edah village.
Thank you so much for your generosity, the use of our Evangelism Van was a great boost to our mission success at Ikot Edah village, Thank you for the Bible supplies. You are doing a great work in preaching Christ to many in Nigeria and Africa though your generosity, God will continually bless you and your endeavors in Jesus Christ Name.
