MISSION REPORT MARCH 2024:
Greetings to you and to my brothers and sisters at the Shackle Island Church of Christ in Christ Jesus name, Amen. Thank you so much for your generosity, your prayers and kind support really payoff. God bless you and yours.
March 2, The month begin with a Bible Seminar/ Evangelism at Church of Christ, Ikot Ibritam were our Ukanafun WBS Evangelism Team led the Door to Door Evangelism and indoor Bible Lecture.
March 3, I preached the sermon at Church of Christ, Ikot Odiong and Two (2) Souls obeyed the Gospel and baptized into Christ.
* Church of Christ, Ikot Akpan Afaha were we had our Bible Seminar on December 25 reports One (1) baptism.
* Church of Christ, Ikot Un were one of our Evangelist at the Ukanafun WBS Evangelism Team preaches reported One (1) baptism too.
March 9, Our Ukanafun WBS Evangelism Team gave me a surprise as they organized a reception/ award ceremony for me and my dear wife. In their address at the colourful ceremony, they said I have led them in the right way in the service of God. Clothes (Suit) were presented to me and (Dress) for my wife and some kitchen utensils in their appreciation for my leadership. Prayers was also offered to God on my behalf.
March 16, Our Evangelism Team led a follow-up campaign at Church of Christ, Ikot Akpan Essien village, One (1) Soul obeyed the Gospel and baptized into Christ.
March 17, I was a guest Preacher at Church of Christ, Ikot Edet in Etim Ekpo Local Government Area, I preached the sermon on Grace during a Thanksgiving service of brother Editi Jeremiah Obot my fellow servant of Christ, many were edified.
March 21, I lost my uncle and his wife to death and both of them were buried, he was 80 years old, it was a trying time for the family.
March 22-23, Our Ukanafun WBS Evangelism Team led the Bible Seminar/ Evangelism at Three Towns Church of Christ, Ata Essien Obioakpa. Free Medical Services (Eye 👁️ Test / Glasses) Door to Door Evangelism, Open Air preaching at market place and indoor Bible Lecture. Three (3) obeyed the Gospel and baptized into Christ while Four (4) erring brethren was restored back to the faith.
March 26, Ukanafun WBS Evangelism Team 2024 first quarter appraisal / fellowship meeting was held at Church of Christ meeting hall, Ikot Odiong to look at our numerous campaigns and Seminars in the first quarter, progress, prospects and challenges.
Songs of praises and prayers to God was sung for His Grace on our little efforts for Christ and His Church by our Ukanafun WBS Evangelism Team in many churches at our rural areas.
Lunch Fellowship and Envelopes fellowship was shared amongst all our teammates. Thank you for your generosity and kind support to further the cause of Christ in Nigeria.
Plans for the second quarter 2024 was activated, pray for good health, strength, resources and grace to carry out and accomplish our plans which includes Bible Seminars/Evangelism, Follow-up mission and Campaigns.
March 27 – April 5, I and my family went on Vacation to recuperate at Eket.
There at Eket, we worshipped at campus church of Christ, Heritage Polytechnic Eket and I was given the opportunity to preach the sermon on ” GROWING IN CHRIST”
*Eleven (11) Souls baptized into Christ in March 2024 while Four (4) Erring brethren was restored back to the faith.
All the newly baptized received Bible and some prospects who really have the need to help them study the Bible.
