*EFFECT OF OUR BIBLE SEMINAR/EVANGELISM*
A FAMILY OF FIVE (5) BAPTIZED INTO CHRIST PLUS ONE (1) RELIGIOUS PARTNER ALSO BAPTIZED MAKING SIX (6) SOULS IN FOUR DAYS ( OCTOBER 1-4, 2023)
A denominational church Pastor , his wife and three (3) Children obeyed the Gospel and baptized into Christ. He shared the Word with his fellow Pastor after his Baptism and he also obeyed the Gospel and baptized into Christ making 6 Souls in four days.
The Ukanafun WBS Evangelism Team during the Annual Bible Seminar/Evangelism at Church of Christ, Ikot Odiong village in Ukanafun Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria in January 2023 preached the undiluted Gospel to this denominational pastor’s family at Ikot Odiong village and they requested further Bible study which we did.
We continue the follow-up mission and God blessed our efforts after 9 months of intensive Bible study.
On Sunday October 1, 2023, Three (3) members of the family obeyed the Gospel and baptized into Christ they include: The wife and 2 Children at Church of Christ, Ikot Odiong, Ukanafun.
On Monday October 2, 2023, Two (2) members of the family obeyed the Gospel and baptized into Christ , they include the Husband (Pastor) and son. As a promoter of team work, the Pastor and his son was referred to a Preacher in Port Harcourt (Friday Obong) who work with his WBS Team Rivers carried out the follow-up mission with them and their efforts was fruitful as they obeyed the Gospel and baptized into Christ.
On Wednesday October 4, 2023, the newly baptized former pastor preached the Word to his colleagues in his former denominational church and one of them obeyed the Gospel, he called me on Telephone to arrange for his Baptism and I called my fellow teammate Friday Obong who called him and the Baptism was carried out. Praise God for the increase in His kingdom.
We need your prayers for their Spiritual growth and steadfastness, their former denominational church leaders are not happy with their decision and are persuading them to return BUT our new Brother Victor John is firmed in his decision. Pray also for the labourers strength and protection.
