Today is another landmark in my ministry despite challenges in my health. God has been so gracious to using our little efforts to impact greatly in Christ kingdom in Nigeria. Thank you so much for being there for us. God bless you all.
I hired someone to take me to worship at our newest planted church at Ata Essien Obio Akpa village, on arriving there I made some visitations and 17 people turned up for worship as I preached on the topic “CHRIST AND HIS CHURCH” .
A young man (Ofonbuk Udom) accepted the Gospel and baptized into Christ.
The converted Mormonism (Mr Akpan Nnah) I mentioned in my last reports did exactly what happens to Apostle Paul at Ephesus in Acts of the Apostle chapter 19 when many who practice magic art brought their together to be burnt. Mr. Nnah confessed that he has charms and other Idolatrous items/African Traditional Religious Pots and he is the keeper of his ancestry shrine as well as some Mormonism books.
IN HIS STATEMENT , HE ASKED :
Mr Nnah : What shall I do to be free?
Mojima : Believed in Christ with all your heart and repent from your sins of idolatry. Acts 2:37.
Mr Nnah : Are you assuring me that I will not be harm by the gods?
Mojima : No! I took him to Acts of the Apostle chapter 19. But you must not go back to this evil practices.
Mr Nnah : Will you expose me to the whole community?
Mojima : No, but your conduct in the community after this exercise must reflect the Gospel of Christ, Philippians 1:27.
Mr Nnah : Let Us go to my house.
On getting to his house, he took me to his bed room and brought an object in the form of a calabash and some books from Joseph Smith of the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saint. As we proceed to the river for the baptism of the convert we had today, I ask Mr Nnah to come with us, on getting there he denounced and we prayed and destroy same and throws away.
He Mr Nnah again said he has other similar objects in his ancestors shrine which he is the keeper and he is ready to denounced all with his family, promising to take us there on Sunday.
We need your prayers for God to preserve Mr Nnah from his decision to quit idolatry through our Gospel and pray for me and my teammates for more grace to serve Him as carry out this tedious for Christ at Ata Essien Obio Akpa village.
I am optimistic that the newly planted church at Ata Essien Obio Akpa village will make progress in soul winning, We are praying for a Preacher who will serve the church but today two (2) of our students (Uyouko Umana Josiah and Nkereuwem George) both teach the Adult and Children Bible class while I preached the sermon.
